Los Angeles JusticeCorps Partner Universities
The majority of Los Angeles JusticeCorps members are recruited by the program director and coordinator(s) at job fairs and campus service learning centers from students attending the following partnering universities:
Each partnering university also has a JusticeCorps university representative responsible for helping recruit and interview applicants as well as support members throughout their year of service in some of the following ways:
- Facilitate campus-based member reflection sessions which provide members an opportunity to express their thoughts regarding service
- Monitor members' ongoing progress through written and verbal communication
- Maintain contact with appropriate site supervisors on a weekly basis
- Collect timesheets, travel expense claim forms and legal form review sheets from site supervisors on a monthly basis
- Hold office hours at the assigned campus service learning center.
