Jake Chatters has been Court Executive Officer of the Placer County Superior Court since 2009. Prior to joining the court, he was with the Sacramento County Superior Court, first as the Director of Research and Evaluation and ultimately as Deputy Court Executive Officer. Before his service to California’s judicial branch, he was a senior consultant for KPMG Consulting on state and local government operations. 

Chatters currently serves on the Commission on the Future of California’s Court System, and recently served on the Trial Court Budget Advisory Committee, Court Technology Advisory Committee, and the Workload Assessment Advisory Committee. He has also served on several key working groups, including the Judicial Branch Technology Initiative Working Group, PJ/CEO Management Program Working Group, and the CEAC Limited Court Closures Working Group.
