Civic Learning Highlights

Pacific Beach Middle School is part of San Diego Unified which passed a Civic Life Resolution that encourages students to participate in civic learning. The civic experience can be seen throughout Pacific Beach MS both inside and outside the classroom. Their International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme helps students build connections between academic subjects and globally relevant topics. Outside the classroom students have an array of extracurricular options including Model United Nations and the International Ambassador Program. All students complete a service-learning project which starts with rigorous research about their community.
