The Judicial Council of California (JCC) is the policymaking body of the California courts, the largest court system in the nation. Under the leadership of the Chief Justice and in accordance with the California Constitution, the council is responsible for ensuring the consistent, independent, impartial, and accessible administration of justice. Judicial Council staff help implement the council's policies.

The JCC is seeking proposals from a brokerage firm and representative broker(s) ("Contractor") to provide insurance broker services that include but are not limited to excess insurance placement and servicing, risk exposure analysis, as well as general insurance advisory services and claims assistance for the Judicial Branch Workers' Compensation Program ("JBWCP") for the purpose of developing and maintaining a comprehensive statewide workers' compensation program. This includes the need for a Contractor who can bring a strong network of connections and contacts in the industry, is responsive, detail oriented, and able to convey complex workers' compensation and insurance matters to Committee members and program staff that will guide them in understanding the nuances of risk pooling and the insurance industry.
