Trial Court Local and Wide Area Network Architecture Administrative Office of the Courts

Welcome to the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) site for the Trial Court Local and Wide Area Network Architecture.

A Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued on September 18, 2001 to assist the Judicial Council, AOC and the Trial Courts of California in defining and implementing a statewide Local and Wide Area Network standard architecture for the trial courts. The objective of this project will be to determine what this standard is and how it will scale across the different courts. The project consists of four phases: Discovery, Architecture Analysis and Design, Implementation for the eleven Bay Area Region courts, and Architecture Review. Essential to the success of this project will be the formation of a strong partnership between the selected vendor team and the AOC. The process to achieve the projects' objective will be highly interactive with the AOC, the Trial Courts and project teams who are working on related projects.

Proposals are due no later than 5PM (Pacific) on Tuesday, October 16, 2001. Questions regarding the RFP submitted in writing by October 4 or asked at the non-mandatory bidders conference. The bidders conference will be held at the AOC in San Francisco on Tuesday, October 2, 2001 at 10AM at 455 Golden Gate Avenue, Judicial Council Conference Center, 3rd floor, Catalina Room.
