San Diego JusticeCorps Court Staff
Ms. Urbeck joined the JusticeCorps program staff in spring, 2010. She earned a Bachelor’s in Women’s Studies and Masters in Public Administration specializing in criminology from San Diego State University and has worked with the Superior Court of California, San Diego for 8 years and has worked with JusticeCorps for 2. Ms. Urbeck oversees activities of the San Diego program on a daily basis, designs and coordinates partner and member trainings, directs program staff, and oversees the collection of data for performance measurements. Ms. Urbeck says the best parts of her job are conducting member trainings and going on site visits to see the members accomplishments first-hand.
Ms. Scott has been with the San Diego court for 4 years and with the JusticeCorps program just over 1. Ms. Scott provides administrative support for all JusticeCorps program operations, including assisting in member and court staff trainings, tracking member hours, coordinating fiscal paperwork, and entering data pertaining to JusticeCorps performance measurements. Ms. Scott received her Bachelors in political science from UCLA and she has a background in nonprofit organizations and event planning. Her favorite parts of the program are the enthusiasm of the students and watching them grow throughout the program year.
