Law Library

General Information

The library at the Court of Appeal, Sixth Appellate District serves the justices and research attorneys at the court and is not open to the public. The library contains approximately 30,000 volumes, including the justices’ chamber collections. The main subject strengths are criminal law and California procedural law. The collection touches on just about every other area of law. Non-book materials include the Internet, various web subscriptions, Westlaw, LexisNexis, DVDs, audiotapes, and microfiche.

Lending policies are in accordance with the Northern California Association of Law Libraries (NOCALL) guidelines.
