The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is the staff agency of the Judicial Council, the policy-making body for the state court system.

Services Provided by the AOC
From Access Services to Security Services, the AOC supports the day-to-day operations of the Judicial Council, the Supreme Court, and the appellate and trial courts. See AOC Services for more details.  

AOC Executive Leadership

The Administrative Director of the Courts is accountable to the council and the Chief Justice for the performance of the Administrative Office of the Courts. The Administrative Director's charge is to accomplish the council's goals and priorities. MORE »

Steven Jahr

Judge Jahr served as a judge for 22 years before his retirement from the bench in 2009. He was selected by the Judicial Council to serve as the state’s fifth Administrative Director of the Courts.
