Annual Renewal and Compliance Period

All spoken language interpreters must meet annual renewal and continuing education and professional assignment requirements established by the Judicial Council of California, in accordance with California Government Code § 68562. Official notification and Annual Renewal packets are e-mailed annually, in September, to all interpreters currently enrolled on the Judicial Council’s Master List of Certified Court and Registered Interpreters.  In order to insure that you receive notification, please make sure that your e-mail address is current.

An interpreter’s failure to provide his or her current mailing address and e-mail address does not exempt an interpreter from fulfilling any compliance requirements. If your contact information has changed please mail the CIP Contact Update Form to the address provided.

2015 Compliance Forms will be available by September 10, 2015.

For complete information on the compliance requirements for court interpreters refer to Compliance Requirements for Certified Court Interpreters and Registered Interpreters
