Judicial Council Staff
The Judicial Council’s staff implements council policy and serves the courts, justice partners, and the public, improving access to justice with a variety of programs and services.
Administrative Leadership
The Administrative Director is accountable to the Judicial Council and to the Chief Justice for the performance of Judicial Council staff. The Administrative Director serves as the Judicial Council Secretary and is charged with accomplishing the council's goals and priorities.

Martin Hoshino
Martin Hoshino became the Judicial Council’s sixth Administrative Director on Oct 1, 2014. He brings to the position more than 15 years of administrative experience in California state government, most recently in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and more than 25 years in public service.
