Governor Releases FY2016–17 Budget Proposal
On Jan 7, the Governor announced his proposed budget for the State of California, including $3.8 billion for the judicial branch. Chief Justice Cantil-Sakauye issued a statement welcoming the investment in the branch and pointed to the $146.3 million in new funding that will expand courts' ability to best service all court users.
