Vendors that market or plan to market commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, such as records management or jail/inmate management systems for court justice partners in California (police agencies, sheriff's departments, district attorney's offices, probation departments, etc.), are encouraged to visit this website and subscribe to the listserve.
We encourage you to build adapters for your systems so they will be able to participate in the judicial branch web-based exchanges. We believe that to be competitive in California, you must be able to support the appropriate standard exchanges, and we ask you to consider developing the adapters as part of routine upgrades and maintenance. Vendors that market nationally should see the advantage that the standards-based approach has in protecting an investment in new adapters. Because NIEM is a national standard that's being widely adopted, the changes you make for California will likely have nationwide value.
WebEx sessions also will be offered online for those who don't want to travel. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for information about online sessions.
Regardless of whether you attend conferences on site or participate in WebEx sessions, we'll attempt to answer all of your questions.
