Pursuant to Penal Code § 13155, the Administrative Office of the Courts must collect data from the trial courts regarding the implementation of the 2011 Criminal Justice Realignment Legislation. This legislative mandate for data collection was included n the FY 12/13 budget trailer bill, giving the branch the authority to specify the data elements (updated 4-19-2013) to be collected.

Data are due quarterly and should be submitted using the Online Data Reporting Instrument.

Please note the following due dates:

• Quarter 1 2013 (January-March) data are due April 30, 2013
• Quarter 2 2013 (April-June) data are due July 31, 2013
• Quarter 3 2013 (July-September) data are due October 31, 2013
• Quarter 4 2013 (October-December) data are due January 31, 2014
