Toolkit for Legislative Outreach
Established in 1993, the Bench-Bar Coalition (BBC), composed of judges and leaders of local and statewide bar associations and legal services organizations, is designed to enhance communication, perform legislative outreach, and coordinate the activities of the judicial community with the state. This online toolkit contains information that will assist BBC members in preparing for outreach activities.

Information About Legislators
Find biographies, district information, positions on legislation, contact information, and, for lawyer-legislators, legal background and areas of practice.

Court-Related Legislation and Judicial Branch Budget
Find information on legislation affecting the courts, including judicial branch budget and legislative priorities, bill text and history, legislative status reports, and annual legislative summaries.

BBC Activities
Information related to various activities that BBC members participate in throughout the year.

Outreach Resources
Tools for outreach activities, including the Legislative Liaison Project; Day on the Bench program information; bench, bar, and legal services resources; sample letters to legislators; and sample bar association resolutions.

Media and Publications Resources
Find press releases, photographs, articles, and editorials on judicial branch priorities, publications, and court-related multimedia.
