JusticeCorps is a collaborative project of the Judicial Council of California; the Superior Courts of California, Counties of Alameda, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and San Mateo; 8 University of California, California State University campuses, and private colleges; and many community-based service providers. JusticeCorps members receive intensive training throughout the year so they can provide in-depth and individualized legal assistance to self-represented litigants, often in their own languages, under the supervision of an attorney.

JusticeCorps members are trained and supervised not only by court staff but also community-based legal Aid parenters including Bay Area Legal Aid, Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles, Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, and others.

JusticeCorps is funded and supported by AmeriCorps, with funding administered by CaliforniaVolunteers.
