Judge Moss currently serves in the Civil Department in the Superior Court of Orange County and has been Chair of the court’s Technology Committee since 2004. Before becoming a judge in 2002, Judge Moss worked in private practice in Orange county from 1973-2002 and was a founding a partner in Howard, Moss, Loveder, Strickroth and Parker in 1987. He specialized in civil litigation including personal injury, insurance bad faith, construction defect, professional malpractice, governmental entity and business tort litigation. He was admitted to the California bar 1973. He was awarded the George Francis Civility Award for the Orange County chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2010, the Jerold S. Oliver Award from the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association in 2007 for his expertise on the court’s unlimited civil panel, and Judge of the Year Award from the Orange County chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2005.
