Ralph N. Kleps Award Program Postponed

The 2012-2013 Kleps Award cycle has been postponed. This will allow the Judicial Council to assess the available resources that will be available for this and other programs next year and make any changes that might be necessary. For more information, contact: innovations@jud.ca.gov.

What's New

The 2012-2013 Ralph N. Kleps Award Cycle kicks off in May, 2012 and trial courts and appellate courts are encouraged to submit nominations for their innovative programs.


This cycle, the Kleps Award Committee may give special consideration to:

  • Court programs that demonstrate program efficiencies and/or cost saving 

  • Court programs that demonstrate efforts to align resources based on needs in family law and to implement the Elkins Family Law Task Force’s recommendations.
