Angela Joy Davis is an assistant U.S. attorney in the major frauds section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Central District of California, where she has served since 1995. She has held several leadership roles in the U.S. Department of Justice. Before joining the public sector, she was a civil litigator for major law firms based in Los Angeles from 1986–1993. She is past president of California Women Lawyers (2006 to 2007) and was Chair of the Editorial Board for the official journal of the L.A. County Bar Association (2008–2009). In Nov 2012, Ms. Davis was appointed by the Chief Justice to the Trial Court Funding Workgroup, a judicial and executive branch working group evaluating the progress of state wide funding for trial courts.
