A Request for Proposals (RFP) was issued on February 28, 2002 . The Administrative Office of the Courts is seeking from all interested library/imaging services providers that have proven experience in digital imaging and indexing of photo archives. The service provider will be responsible for recommending, developing and installing a hardware and software system allowing the agency's growing photo collection to be searched and retrieved electronically.

This RFP is the means for prospective service providers to submit their qualifications to the AOC and request selection as a service provider. The AOC may select, from the responses to this RFP, service providers qualified to provide digital library/imaging services to the AOC.

• It is the intent of the AOC to enter into Master Agreement(s) with one or more primary vendors and one or more secondary providers.
• The Master Agreement(s) will provide consistency in pricing for temporary services. No financial award will directly result from the signing of this Master Agreement(s). The contracted vendor(s) will work directly with the AOC Office of Communications employee contact to determine the necessary skill set for each order placed.
• The State reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, as well as the right to conduct or not conduct a similar proposal in the future. This request for proposals is in no way an agreement, obligation, or contract, and the State is not responsible for the cost of preparation. One copy of a submitted proposal will be retained for official files and become a public record.

Vendor proposals must be received prior to 5 p.m. on March 28, 2002, and include all required attachments. Oral responses will not be accepted.
