Judicial Branch Strategic Plan

The California Constitution sets forth the Judicial Council’s purpose:  to improve the administration of justice.  The California Rules of Court acknowledge the importance of strategic and operational plans in helping the council fulfill this purpose.

The Judicial Council of California regularly reviews state and national trends, court system values, external mandates, stakeholder expectations, and other forces that shape the environment of the courts. The council responds to these issues by setting long-range strategic goals and developing systematic initiatives to meet these goals.
