Effective 1/1/2013, CRC, rule 8.212(c)(2) was revised.
The Supreme Court now requires an electronic service copy of briefs filed. SUBMISSION OF AN ELECTRONIC COPY TO THE COURT OF APPEAL, WILL SATISFY THIS REQUIREMENT. When a copy of a civil brief is submitted electronically to the Court of Appeal, a copy is automatically sent to the Supreme Court. There is no need to submit a separate e-copy to the Supreme Court if you first submit one to us.
The California Appellate Courts Case Information System provides case information for California Supreme Court and Court of Appeal cases. Case information is updated once an hour throughout the business day.
The Sixth District is located in San Jose and has jurisdiction over the following counties: Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz. The court has seven authorized judicial positions, consisting of a presiding justice and six associate justices. The court does not have divisions. READ MORE >>
