Oral Argument by Videoconference Using the BlueJeans Events Application

Oral arguments will be conducted by videoconference on the BlueJeans Events application, the Court’s designated platform for remote video appearances.  Several days before oral argument is scheduled, participants will receive emailed invitations and instructions from the Court, with a link for joining oral argument.  All fees for remote argument have been waived.

The public may view and/or listen to oral argument through the BlueJeans Events application. Click here for Video Oral Argument Instructions for the public. Links to oral argument will be provided on this page when they become available.

Except as provided in rule 1.150, California Rules of Court, court proceedings may not be photographed, recorded, or broadcast, including those held by videoconference. The media must request an order from the court before any portion of the oral argument proceedings is recorded in any manner (Media Request to Photograph, Record, or Broadcast, form MC-500). The form must be filed with the court at least five court days before the proceeding, unless good cause is shown. A completed proposed Order on Media Request to Permit Coverage (form MC-510) must be filed with the request.
