In Buhach High School’s “The Role of Women in Society and US History Course” students explore the history of American women from 1870, the decade following the civil war, to the present, with particular focus on 1945 to present. The course includes meetings with women civic leaders, and culminates with a trip to Washington DC.

  • Provide instruction in government, history, law and democracy, and avoid teaching only rote facts about dry procedures.
