Fifth Appellate District Announces Destruction of Old Court Records

Fresno—The Court of Appeal for the Fifth Appellate District (Fresno) announces its intention to destroy the following criminal, juvenile, and civil records pursuant to Rule 10.1028(d), California Rules of Court:

• All criminal and juvenile cases from case number F00001 through and including F019300 (excluding those with published opinions). These cases encompass criminal and juvenile cases preserved for a period longer than 20 years.
• All civil cases from case numbers F00001 through and including F019300 cases (excluding those with published opinions). These cases encompass civil cases preserved for a period longer than 10 years.

Anyone who knows of a reason why any of the above cases should be retained, whether for historical or other reasons, should notify Charlene Ynson, Clerk/Administrator. The reasons for retention should be in writing, should be received by the court by July 19, 2013, and should be addressed to:
