Overview/Program Description:

Thirty-three percent of the traffic filings in Santa Clara County are filed electronically by law enforcement agencies and the California Highway Patrol. Currently, seven agencies are filing electronically.

Program Benefits/Savings:

Because the electronic process of filing citations did not require data entry by staff, the court was able to reallocate employee resources to other divisions.
