Questions and Answers


The Judicial Council seeks the services of an entity with expertise to assist the implementation of the Language Access Plan (“LAP”) recommendations.

Preferred expertise in the following areas includes:

  1. Language access interpretation and translation.
  2. Laws, including statutory and case law related to language access in the California courts.
  3. Financial forecasting.
  4. Education and training.
  5. Court interpreting principles.
  6. Qualitative and quantitative data collection
  7. Translation services
  8. Principles of remote interpreting

The funding available for this project includes a range of $108,000.00 to $216,000.00.

Questions should be directed to solicitations@jud.ca.gov and must be received by no later than 3:00 pm Pacific Time, May 22, 2015.

Proposals must be received by no later than 3:00 pm Pacific Time, June 5, 2015.
