Mr. Shawn C. Landry serves as the court executive officer of the Superior Court of Yolo County since 2013. He oversees the operations of the court, which includes 13 bench officers, 125 staff, and an $18 million budget. He previously served as the court’s assistant court executive officer from 2003 to 2013. During his tenure, he played a leadership role in the design and construction of the new $163 million courthouse. He successfully implemented a new case management system to include e-filing, a judicial interface, electronic public access to court records, and automated minute orders. This implementation has enhanced public access and transitioned the Yolo court system into an entirely paperless process.

Most recently, Mr. Landry implemented and scaled a virtual courthouse allowing remote and livestream access to court hearings increasing access to the public through pandemic. Prior to his 17 years at Yolo court, he served as a staff member of the Judicial Council of California. Previous to that, Mr. Landry worked in the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit in the Florida State Court in court administration. He earned his juris doctor degree in 1996.
