Judge Kevin C. Brazile was appointed to the bench by Governor Gray Davis in 2002. He served as former presiding judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County for a two-year term beginning January 2019. He currently serves as cochair of the Judicial Council’s Advisory Committee on Providing Access and Fairness. He also served as a member of the Judicial Council’s Civil and Smalls Claims Advisory Committee. In addition, Judge Brazile has served on the California Judges Association (CJA) Executive Board, including one year as vice-president of CJA and as a member of the California Judges Association Foundation.
