Judicial Council Meetings

The Judicial Council holds six to eight business meetings each year. These meetings are open to the public unless closed under rule 10.6(a) or (b) of the California Rules of Court.

Meeting Information Center

Meeting agendas are posted at least seven days in advance of each meeting, in the Meeting Information Center where materials and archived videos can also be accessed. Meetings are broadcast live through a video stream with closed captions. A link to the video player is posted on this page 15 minutes prior to the start of each meeting.

Attendance and Public Comment

The Judicial Council welcomes public comment on general matters of judicial administration and on specific items on meeting agendas. Written comments are encouraged in advance of the meeting for specific agenda items so council members can consider them prior to the council meeting. Members of the public are also encouraged to sign-up in advance to speak at any in‑person or remote public meeting.

Please consult each business meeting agenda for the deadline to submit written and oral comments. For more information, view the attendance and public comment procedures.

*The dates, locations, and method of conducting council meetings are subject to change. Revised dates, agendas, and materials will be posted when available. Unless otherwise noted, all business meetings are held at the Judicial Council Conference Center, Board Room, 455 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, California.
