Effective September 26, 2016, the Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District, has approved amendments to Local Rule 5.

The Court of Appeal, Third Appellate District, is changing its telephone hours to 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Currently, telephone hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The change will take effect Friday, June 24, 2016.

The 3rd District is located in Sacramento.  Its jurisdiction is over the following counties: Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Yolo, and Yuba.
